TET (2004) CELEBRATION IN DANVILLE - CALIFORNIA...

This year's Tet - The New Year of The Monkey (2004) was celebrated in Danville, California, hosted by Trinh Quang Binh and his wife Thanh, and coordinated by Ly Gia Tin. The Trinhs opened their wonderful home to the large group of friends coming from all over the world. Specially from Vietnam was Nguyen Van Ngoc, from France was Le Thuc Hai, from Canada were Nguyen Ngoc Bich and Nguyen Minh Hai, from Virginia were Hoang T. Thanh Ha and her husband Bob Vu, and Uong Dinh Chuyen and his wife Thanh.  Other friends are from California and other places...  Here are some representative pictures. We are requesting our friends to send more pictures to be posted here. The organizing committee also included Hua Tu Cuong (Thuy-Anh) and Ly Truong Hung (Rang) and others. Dr. Persky, Mr. Coke and Mrs. Mei-Ling who helped the San Jose group with intensive English training the first time they came to the US in 1967 were honored during the special event.
