Asilomar Reunion 2003 was a lot of fun...
Close to 60 people met and celebrated their friendship and enjoyed one
another's company over the weekend (6/20-22/03) at Asilomar Conference Ground,
Monterey, CA. Many brought their entire family, from as far away as Singapore,
Vietnam, Florida, New Jersey and Houston, and as near as the Bay areas, for the occasion. The weather
was mostly sunny and the scenery was perfectly peaceful. The music, poetry, and singing were genuinely
lovely. The discussions on topics, ranging from VN healthcare to retirement, were very interesting, even
heated at times but in the spirit of love, care and friendship, because we have
a common bond and, together we share a lot of memories of the "good old" days. We all had a great time traveling together in caravans (of cars
and vans)...
The group decided to meet again in 2005.
